Raised near Worcester and first grafted commercially in 1873. The apples are golden-yellow streaked crimson with white flesh. They are densely sweet with an intense strawberry flavour when picked fully ripe, regular prolific cropper. This tree also features a very attractive distinctive blossom, almond opening to silvery white. A good commercial and garden variety which is suitable for colder areas and is more resistant to frost.
To guarantee cross pollination plant in a sunny, open site with another tree from the same flowering group (e.g. Limelight).
