Very large dark red to black fruit of exceptional cropping and quality. The fruit has dark red flesh and an exquisite flavour. The tree is fairly upright in habit and should only ever be lightly pruned. The ascending branches hold dark green leaves which turn to red and orange come autumn. The newly emerging foliage is accompanied by pretty white flowers which have a pink flush to them. This is a self fertile cherry, which will also help to pollinate most other varieties.
