Kiwi plants are really attractive deciduous plants that have the added bonus of providing you with delicious fruits. The fruits have a furry exterior and a tangy green flesh inside which is extremely juicy. The fruits are usually ready in October, or later if we have had a poor summer. The plants themselves are climbers and can be trained as espaliers on horizontal wires; they should be planted in a warm, sunny and sheltered spot and in well-drained soil.
