Lavender Plants
Lavender plants are one of the best choices for planting in a sensory garden: the highly recognisable flowers are strongly fragranced and are perfect for luring bees and butterflies to your garden. Another benefit of these delightful shrubs is the fact that they are evergreen – meaning that they will add colour to your garden all year round.
You can plant lavender in many different positions in the garden and they look great lining a path, in a pot or in a sunny border. If you want to keep your lavender plants compact then prune them back in late summer after flowering and cut off about an inch.
