Cotoneaster Trees
Cotoneaster trees make attractive garden specimens that are great for any sized garden – large or small. Most are semi-evergreen, if not evergreen, and they have a range of leaf shapes and sizes; some cotoneasters have thick and glossy dark green leaves and others have variegated patters. In spring, pretty flowers appear and these grow in clusters and are usually pink or white. One of the most notable features of cotoneaster trees comes with the late summer berries which are red, purple or black in colour and make a great natural bird feeder.
These compact trees make great feature trees and they can also be used for screening in a small garden. You can plant cotoneaster trees in almost any soil and they will still produce fantastic flowers and fruits.
