A pleasing form that is dense and bushy and which only reaches around 1.3m in height. The small leaves are rich, shiny and dark green. The flowers are coloured bright red and look beautiful in combination with the foliage. This shrub is supplied in a 3 litre container for year round planting. This is a good choice for the shrub garden and is a handsome plant for use as a low internal hedge, perhaps to divide areas of the garden. It is best grown in mild districts or coastal areas. The leaves are pleasantly resinous if touched.
