This periwinkle features a luscious display of glossy green lance-shaped leaves that hold on this creeping plant all year round. From April to September pure white flowers appear and these look beautiful against the dark green foliage. The ‘Gertrude Jekyll’ is a creeping plant and so it will provide excellent groundcover in a border. You can plant this next to another Vinca, like the ‘Ralph Shugart, to get evergreen foliage and different coloured blossom during the growing season.
