The 'Sem' is a delightful tree which features a lovely display of fern-like leaves that are divided into pinnate leaflets. The leaves emerge a bronzed red colour, then they mature to bright green over summer before a final burst of red in autumn. In summer, pretty flowers also appear and these are creamy white and grow in terminal panicles. This is a lovely suckering shrub which is great for planting in a bed or border.
