The ‘John Bond’ is a highly unusual variety of sorbus which features striking grey-green leaves that have silvery white undersides to them. The leaves twist and curl to reveal the colour variation, which adds great interest throughout the growing season. Aside from the foliage, this tree also offers pretty sprays of white flowers in spring, which later become small brown fruits in autumn. This tree grows fairly upright in habit and it is therefore the perfect choice for the smaller garden.
