White berries produced in large clusters and stunning red autumn colours typify this small, broadly columnar tree. The 'Hupen Rowan' was introduced to Britain by Ernest Wilson in 1910. The large leaves have a blue-green appearance when young, making the tree easily recognisable. The foliage later develops to a glaucous green before its final autumnal display.
