This bright and juicy berry is an extremely heavy cropper with an excellent taste. It produces a rather sweet tasting, large, dark red berry which is excellent to make a variety of pies/jams/jellies. Redcurrants are often overlooked by most fruit growers, however these make an excellent addition to any garden best grown as a cordon. This variety is well known for its excellent cropping capabilities.
