Mail-Order-Trees cannot be held responsible for delayed deliveries due to factors beyond our control such as Public Holidays or adverse weather conditions which make it impossible to lift bare-rooted trees. In cases such as these, you will be notified.
We can only deliver to physical addresses and not to PO boxes. A complete address including correct postcode must be provided. Incorrect postcodes cause more delays than omitting the postcode altogether.
Mail-Order-Trees cannot be held responsible for orders not received if an incorrect address is provided. It will also be necessary to give us details of where to place items should you be out when the delivery arrives. Mail-Order-Trees cannot be responsible for items lost if we have followed your instructions. A contact telephone number can also be very useful to our courier.

Pyrus ‘Chanticleer’ is one of the most reliable and widely planted ornamental pear trees, valued for its neat, upright shape and strong seasonal interest.
It is particularly well suited to smaller gardens, driveways, and urban settings, where space is limited but height and structure are needed.
In spring, Pyrus ‘Chanticleer’ is covered in clouds of white blossom, which appear before the leaves fully emerge. This creates a clean and striking display and provides an early source of nectar for pollinators.
The flowers are followed by glossy green leaves that form a dense, tidy canopy through summer.
As autumn approaches, the foliage of the Ornamental Pear Tree turns rich shades of red, orange, and purple, often holding its colour well into late autumn.
This makes Pyrus ‘Chanticleer’ a strong choice for dependable autumn colour, even in years when other trees are less impressive.
One of the main advantages of Pyrus ‘Chanticleer’ is its naturally narrow, pyramidal habit. Unlike many pear trees, it rarely becomes broad or untidy, reaching around 8 to 10 metres in height while staying relatively slim.
This makes it ideal for planting close to boundaries or as a formal avenue tree.
Fully hardy and easy to grow, Pyrus ‘Chanticleer’ performs well in most well-drained soils and tolerates pollution, wind, and urban conditions once established.
It requires very little pruning and maintains its shape naturally.
If you are looking for a tree that offers spring blossom, autumn colour, and year-round structure without demanding a lot of space or maintenance, go for a Pyrus ‘Chanticleer'.
