Malus domestica 'Ellison's Orange' is a hardy, easy to grow and prolific cropping tree. The apples are a golden green colour and are streaked with red. The aniseed flavour develops after picking, retaining its crisp yet soft texture with wonderfully juicy flesh. The tree has a rounded habit with ovate green leaves, the leaves are accompanied by pink-white flowers in spring.
To guarantee cross pollination plant in a sunny, open site with another tree from the same or adjacent flowering group (e.g. 'Braeburn').
