The ‘Snow Bird’ will grow to be a tall and majestic tree that will become a real garden feature, eventually becoming a large tree with a dense, pyramidal crown. The leaves of this Liriodendron are of interest as they are lobed and variegated: they have a green centre with creamy margins in summer and these later become a golden yellow colour in autumn. On mature trees, usually after around 10 years, tulip-shaped flowers appear and these are green-yellow in colour with orange markings at the base of the petals.
