The buttery yellow flowers of this Golden Rain Tree are delightful and they appear in July and August all over the tree. After the flowers come the highly unusual seed pods and these are lantern-shaped and have a bronzed red and green colouring to them – they actually look like small chillies hanging from the top of the tree. The leaves are mid-green in colour and they make the perfect foil for the pretty flowers and the seed pods. This is a highly unusual and desirable tree which will make a great garden specimen.
