Ilex aquifolium 'Handsworth New Silver' is part of the Aquifoliaceae family, similar to other female hollies it produces berries in Autumn providing it is pollinated by a male. This holly is is one of the more compact/dense variety's available but does still reach a height 8m. The berries are toxic to humans and should not be consumed also something to consider with children in the garden
