This is a beautiful choice for late summer interest, as the pretty golden flowers usually appear from July to September. The anthers of this plant make it extra-special as they are red-orange in colour and look great against the buttery yellow petals that surround them. The foliage is also of great interest as the leaves are deep green in colour and ovate in shape; the leaves are held on glowing red stems and with this being a semi-evergreen variety, the foliage will hold on the plant in milder winters.
