The ‘Hidcote’ features a sunny display of buttery yellow cup-shaped flowers which appear from July to October. This shrub is semi-evergreen which means that it will hold its leaves in milder winters. The leaves are lance shaped and dark green in colour and they are held on red shoots which really set off the foliage and the flowers. We would recommend planting ‘Hidcote’ next to another hypericum like the ‘moserianum’, and the pair of them look great at the back of a shrub border.
