The ‘Hawkshead’ has the accolade of being hardier than most other fuchsias and it does particularly well when planted in a sheltered spot. The slender leaves are mid-dark green and they make the perfect foil for the long-lasting flowers. The floral display is highly unique as the flowers are pure white on the outside, with a slight pink blush on the inside, and they appear to drip from the tree in angelic form.
