The ‘Charlie Boy’ is a boldly colourful shrub that makes a real statement. It is renowned for its vivid foliage which is wine red and bright pink in colour, adding a real touch of drama to any garden. In particularly warm summers you may get a show of tiny, white flowers; these are popular with bees and insects. This Cordyline stands out from the others as it is hardier (down to around -9) and is also brighter than most. If you want to add some structure to a border then this is an excellent architectural plant; we also think it looks great in a pot on a sunny patio.
