Special features: Dense evergreen shrub bearing clusters of deep blue flowers from red buds in summer.
This is a large, evergreen shrub with small, oblong, dark green leaves. In late spring, dark-blue flowers are produced from reddish purple buds. Plants look stunning trained against a wall of a house and grow well in full sun- they also require light, well-drained soil. Although this is a frost hardy shrub, the 'Concha' may need some protection in very cold frosts.
