The 'Hint of Gold' is a densely packed shrub that has a bushy, rounded habit and is well-suited to being planted in a mixed bed. The leaves of this shrub are its best feature as these have softly serrated edges and creamy green centres with golden yellow margins. In late summer, the leaves are complimented by purple flowers and these last well into autumn, giving a well-needed floral boost at this time of year. Plant this shrub in a bed or a border alongside other varieties of Caryopteris for variant leaf colours.
