Throughout summer this wonderful perennial offers great floral interest; the upward-facing flowers are bell-shaped and are the purest shade of white. The stems are upright and stiff, making this a great choice for cut flowers. Below the flowers a bed of dark green foliage forms spreading clumps and this is a great foil for the summer flowers. In terms of planting this ‘clustered bellflower’ works really well at the front of a sunny border, but do make sure you give it the spreading room in needs.
