As the name suggests, the 'Petite Lavender' maintains a compact form and is well-suited to a smaller space in the garden, or a pot on a sunny patio. The flowers of this Buddleja are lavender-coloured and they grow in conical clusters from elongated stems, often reaching out above the main body of foliage. The slender leaves are grey-green in colour and make the perfect foil for the flowers. As with all Buddlejas, this is a fantastic choice for attracting wildlife to your garden - particularly butterflies and bees.
This bush will form a dense mound and, with it being a dwarf form, it can be planted in a small space. Plant this with another compact Buddleja, like the 'Hot Raspberry', for contrasting floral colours or plant it alongside a shrub with brighter foliage, like the Spiraea japonica 'Golden Princess'.
