Betula ermanii is a graceful and vigorous birch which often grows as a multi-stemmed tree. The bark is a particularly pretty creamy pink on the trunk with deeper colour on the branches, sometimes attaining brownish red tones. The plump bright green leaves turn to golden brown in autumn.
