Abutilon megapotamicum is a tender, semi evergreen shrub originally found in Brazil. It is often described as an arching shrub though in reality it is more lax in its growth habit. Bright yellow and red pendant flowers that resemble hanging lanterns appear in spring right the way through to autumn. This trailing Abutilon is great for conservatories or green houses, though it can be grown outside in containers or as a border plant in a sunny sheltered position.
