This Abelia will make a welcome addition to any bed or border. It features variegated leaves that are dark green in colour with creamy margins in spring and summer; these later take on an autumnal orange hue and, with this being a semi-evergreen, they hold their leaves in milder winters. The summer flowers also make an eye-catching feature and they are soft white in colour, funnel-shaped and carry a sweet scent. This attractive shrub is perfect in a sunny spot and works well as part of a sensory planting scheme or a cottage style garden.
