Whitecurrant plants are a great choice for your garden as they are easy to grow and taste great in deserts. The bushes themselves are also rather pretty, particularly when the spherical fruits are growing. Whitecurrants are less popular than the well-known redcurrants, probably due to their translucent colouring, but they are in fact sweeter than redcurrants and deserve wider planting.
