Trachelospermum have been given the common name of ‘Star Jasmine Plants’ due to their attractive flowers that look like the flowers of a jasmine plant. The flowers are star shaped and are strongly fragranced; they add great interest from mid to late summer. These evergreen climbers add interest all year round and are great for training in a sunny but sheltered spot. You can also grow these climbers inside a greenhouse or conservatory as long as they are kept in a large planter and are well-watered.
