This fig tree is valued for its plentiful harvest of pear-shaped brown fruits, which have a red flesh, and a rich yet sweet taste. The ‘Brown Turkey’ has deeply lobed glossy green leaves which are the perfect foil for the purple-brown fruits. This heavy cropper will thrive in a sunny position and it will do particularly well when planted against a south facing wall. This tree has an eventual size of 4m x 3m but will grow well in a container with its roots restricted and this will also keep it more compact.
