With long-lasting flowers and healthy foliage, poetntilla plants have a lot to offer. The flowers are by far the greatest feature of these deciduous shrubs as they appear in spring and last until early autumn. The leaves are either palmately or pinnately divided and are usually a healthy mid-dark green colour.
To get the best out of a potentilla, plant it in a sunny position in moist but well-drained soil. Tese plants work well in beds, borders and rock or gravel gardens.

Shrubby Cinquefoil Mango Tango
Common Name: Shrubby Cinquefoil 'Mango Tango'Latin Name: Potentilla fruticosa 'Mango Tango'Soil: Fertile, well-drained soilPosition: Full sunFlowering period/colour: May-October/orange-yellowHardiness: Fully hardyEventual height/spread: 0.6m x 0.6mSpecial features: Eye-catching mango coloured cup-shaped flowers from through summer and autumn (Deciduous) The 'Mango Tango' is aptly named as the cup-shaped single flowers are of the same shade as the flesh of a mango. This compact and bushy shrub is embellished with tiny grey-green leaves throughout spring, summer and autumn and the long-lasting flowers shine from May to October. This is a great choice for planting in a bed or border, and it works particularly well when planted alongside one of the other cinquefoils like the 'Red Lady'.
