Juniperus are great plants for striking foliage and they feature branches that are densely packed with either needle-like leaves or scale-like leaves. With junipers being evergreen, they are a great choice for adding interest to your garden all year round. Depending on the variety, they are well-suited to a range of situations and most are suitable for costal sites as well as urban sites.
The smaller juniper varieties work well in rock gardens or gravel gardens and will give a colourful boost to your garden during winter.

Alternatively, they also look great planted in rows. Gardeners often feel that Blue Arrow gives their space a formal or regal look. The needles are pressed close against the branches, giving vertically held looking sprays that, on close inspection, can appear rather coarse looking. Juniperus Scopulorum is the narrowest, most 'pencil like' of all columnar conifers, making it very useful for landscapers. Resilient and hardy, Rocky Mountain Juniper will tolerate most soil types, but it’s best planted it in a sheltered, shady site to encourage its leanness.Add Rocky Mountain Juniper to your space today and watch the vertical growth transform your garden.
