There is nothing more satisfying than being able to pick a delicious bunch of grapes from your own vine. Growing your own grapes is a highly rewarding experience and the fruits look fantastic when they are growing in your garden. Before the fruits are ripe, ensure you cover them in netting to stop the birds from stealing your crop. Depending on the variety, your fruits will be ready in September or October; taste one grape from a bunch and if it is ripe then cut the whole bunch free. You can eat these juicy fruits fresh, make them into grape juice, or make them into wine.
