Amelanchier 'Ballerina' is a small upright tree or graceful large shrub. It has beautiful ovate leaves that are coppery-bronze when young, which fade to green before turning brilliant shades of orange and red in the autumn. Freely produced large white flowers appear in April which are followed later by edible berries, red ripening to almost black.
