Malus 'Direktor Moerland' is an improved form of the very popular Malus 'Profusion' with an exceptional resistance to scab. This small tree becomes covered in late April and May with wine-red, slightly fragrant flowers which are followed in autumn by small dark red fruits. The young foliage is a coppery-crimson and continues to look healthy throughout the summer.
