The Golden Twig Dogwood is a valuable asset to any garden as it provides year round interest and colour. In spring, ovate and sharply-pointed mid-green leaves appear all over the shrub and by May these are accompanied by small sprays of creamy-white flowers. In autumn, the leaves turn orange-red and as they fall they reveal the glowing golden stems. The stems look fantastic in a stark winter garden and this dogwood works particularly well when planted alongside a different coloured dogwood like the Cornus ‘Alba’ (Red-Barked Dogwood).
