A hearty, handsome Phormium with spreading and arching leaves. These are green with a broad creamy yellow central line and further stripes of cream near the leaf edge, sometimes with a touch of red as well. It makes a big, expansive foliage clump and needs space in order to show itself off. A dramatic feature of many coastal gardens: it withstands salt laden winds.
