The tree itself has a fairly compact and rounded habit; it produces lightly scented pink and white flowers in spring. The leaves are green in spring and summer and are red and orange in autumn. Suitable for cold areas.Although this tree is self fertile, it can also be used to cross pollinate other apple trees in the same flowering group (e.g. Crispin).
