The 'Ben Sarek' is a wonderful variety of blackcurrant; it features a heavy crop of large fruits which are bursting with flavour. Another great feature of this blackcurrant bush is it's dwarf nature, growing little over 1m tall. There are in-bred frost resistance properties and this bush also boasts fairly good mildew resistance. Prompt picking before the fruit falls is advised on this variety, this can be done by shaking the bush and catching the falling fruits.
