Wisteria sinensis 'Prolific' is a fast growing climber whose mature stems form unusual, twisted, gnarled shapes. An abundance of hanging, fragrant, blue-lilac pea flowers are produces in late spring and are often repeated in hot summers. The leaves open a coppery colour gradually turning golden green with time. This fast growing Chinese wisteria is ideal for growing on a pergola or against a south facing wall.
