This beautiful flowering cherry is simply breathtaking in spring; once mature, it will grow to a good height of around 7m and its outreaching branches will be studded with showy flowers that cover the tree in a cloud of soft pink. The double flowers make a real statement in spring and the flowers last longer than most Japanese cherries - sometimes over a month. The bronzed foliage adds further interest in spring and this later turns to a dark green before its final autumnal show of oranges and reds. This majestic tree makes an excellent lawn specimen and, once mature, has a clear canopy of around 4m.
