Mahonia x media 'Charity' is an excellent winter flowering shrub with imposing whorls of great leaves composed of many long paired leaflets. Lemon yellow flowers come from around November through to January and have a light fragrance. It will reach 3m or more in height, and, in a mature specimen, as much in width. This Mahonia makes a lovely focal point for a shady spot in the garden.
