Special features: Large long-lived, broad-headed tree. Almost all the ancient named oaks in this country belong to this species.
A wonderfully rugged and very handsome deciduous tree providing a rich habitat for other plants and valuable source of food for wildlife. Ultimately a large tree with a broad head of spectacularly spreading branches filled with small clusters of catkins and flower spikes each spring- followed by masses of acorns attractive autumn tints of bright yellow and russet brown. Ideal for large gardens and wide open spaces.
This Oak Tree supplied in a 2 or 10 litre container suitable for planting all year round. The total height of this feathered tree is approximately 0.9-1.2m (3-4ft) or 1.8-2.2m (6-7ft).
