The Willingham Gage is an excellent cropping variety which

produces a very attractive and sweet tasting green gage.

This variety is favoured for its ease of care and superb

quality fruits which are produced around mid August. (Please note the picture is for illustration purposes only and is not a Willingham Gage Tree)

This Gage Tree is supplied bare rooted suitable for planting from November until March. The total height of this tree is approximately 1.5-2.1m (5-7ft) depending on which size you have chosen.

Our bare rooted trees are hand lifted from our nursery on the day or day before despatch. There will be no soil around the roots but they are covered with a bag to prevent them drying out. If you are unable to plant the trees immediately there is no need to panic. The trees are completely dormant this time of year, which means as long as the roots are kept out of the frost and well wrapped up no harm will come to them, although the sooner you can get them planted in the ground the better.
