This pear is very similar to William's, with the main difference of crop's coming slightly later in mid September. Packham's Triumph is a good reliable cropper and keeps well in storage. The conical, irregular-shaped fruit has a very juicy sweet flavour to it. Tree growth is compact and upright, making it a good choice for medium to small sized gardens. To guarantee cross pollination plant in a sunny, open site with another tree from the same flowering group (e.g. 'Conference').
