Parthenocissus quinquefolia is a handsome, deciduous self-clinging climber that has a spectacular autumn colour is easy to grow and very vigorous so will need a lot of space. A north or east facing large wall would be perfect to show off its outstanding autumn fiery colours and modest crop of blue-black berries. The Virginia creeper is perfect to cover up any sized eyesore or old building with a large area. It is also fairly salt tolerant also so will do well in coastal regions.
This Parthenocissus is supplied in a 3 litre container growing on a 90cm cane which is suitable for planting all year round.
