Malus toringo 'Scarlett' is a relatively new introduction to the Malus family originally from Denmak. This tree has something to offer throughout all four seasons. The rich pink blossoms contrast perfectly with the new purple, deeply lobed leaves which turn a bronze-green colour in summer then later in autumn giving a dazzling display with rich scarlet and purple tints. The Small purple fruits remain on the tree long after the leaves have fallen.
This Crab Apple Tree is supplied in a 10 litre container suitable for planting all year round. The total height of this half standard tree is approximately 1.8-2.2m (6-7ft).
