Soil: Any fertile, well drained
Position: Full sun or partial Shade, will also tolerate majority shade.
Hardiness: Frost hardy down to -5°C protect with a mulch or fleece in the winter
Flowering Period: June to July
Flowering Colour: Pinky red
Eventual Height/Spread: 4m(13ft) / 3m(10ft)
Special features: Fragrant pink/red flowers throughout spring and summer, shiny black berries in winter.
Jasminum beesianum has a very fast growing habit with a slender in form. This climber has slightly fragranced pink/red tubular flowers followed by shiny black berries that last well into the winter. It can be planted in the garden or kept in a container as close to the house to appreciate its fragrance. This jasmine will easily climb up a hedge or framework but may need some support in the early planting stages.
This Jasmine is supplied in a 2-3 litre container growing on a 90cm cane which is suitable for planting all year round.
