B/R (Bare Root) - The traditional way to buy deciduous trees and shrubs. Perfect for planting between November and March.
R/B (Root Ball) - The traditional way to buy evergreen trees and shrubs. The plants are kept in their own soil, making them ideal to transplant between November and March.
C/G (Container Grown) - A very convenient way to buy trees and shrubs, already rooted in their pots, they can be planted all year round. Sizes given in litres.
H/S (Half standard) - Half standard trees are 2-3 years old and have a clear stem of 1.25-1.5m with a bushy head of branches. The total height from the ground is usually 1.8-2.4m (6-8ft).
B (Bush) - Bush trees are 2-3 years old and have a clear stem of 0.8-1m with a bushy head of branches. The total height from the ground is usually 1.5-1.8m (5-6ft).
Maiden (Feathered tree) - A good, well-defined prominent leader running straight up through the young tree. Perfect for training into a half standard, standard or fan-trained tree. Sizes given in cm's.

Jasminum officinale 'Argenteovariegatum' is much less vigorous than the green for and may benefit from some winter protection. The pretty leaves are grey-green with creamy-white margins. This climber will produce fragrant white flowers at the end of summer followed by black berries in the autumn.
Jasminum officinale 'Clotted Cream' has the added benefit of being semi-evergreen in milder areas. In the summer it is covered in masses of highly fragrant creamy flowers and since it spreads quickly in all directions, it's ideal for covering a large surface area like a wall or old shed.This Jasmine is best planted against a low wall or something like a pergola. Ideal for a rooftop garden as long as it receives some shelter from cold winds.
Jasminum officinale 'Fiona surprise' is a new introduction to the Jasmine family. This deciduous climber has golden-leaved ferny foliage and becomes shrouded in beautiful white flowers from the middle of summer to early autumn; it is a more compact climber yet still a relatively fast growing. The scented flowers beautiful fragrance is enhanced by the more sunlight it receives.
Jasminum nudiflorum is an arching deciduous shrub that is easily trained into a wall climber using any form of frame. Fragrant lemon yellow flowers burst through the cold weather in January right through until March then dark green leaves appear through the rest of the spring and summer period. The Winter Jasmine is great for covering smaller areas such as a small fence or garden shed.
Lonicera × tellmanniana is a pretty deciduous twining climber with large bright green leaves. Between May and July this unusual Honeysuckle becomes covered in bright orange, tubular flowers.
