Ceanothus 'Trewithen Blue' is perhaps best grown as a wall shrub since it is somewhat tender. It forms a substantial shrub with such masses of blue flowers in the spring that the branches arch downwards with the weight of the blossom - a wonderful blue heaven with a slight honey perfume.
